We're delighted to announce that the World Rugby Museum has partnered with the historic Rosslyn Park FC to bring you the Tour & Training Package. The ultimate educational group experience at the World Rugby Museum.
Give your students the chance to experience what it takes to become an international rugby union player, with a fun training session held at Rosslyn Park FC, before an afternoon exploring Allianz Stadium, the Home of England Rugby, and the award-winning World Rugby Museum.
As part of this exciting educational package, students will be able to visit the historic rugby grounds of the famous Rosslyn Park FC, based in Barnes. Here students will enjoy a coached rugby training session, tailored to suit groups of varying ages and rugby abilities.
Students will also enjoy a fascinating backstage tour of the famous Home of England Rugby, Allianz Stadium. As part of the tour, students will take their seat in the place of their favourite England players in the England Changing Room, line-up in the Players' Tunnel alongside their 'squad', before then stepping into the stadium bowl to grab a photo beside the famous pitch, and marvel at the surrounding 82,000 seats.
Students will then be able to step into rugby union's rich history at the World Rugby Museum, home to the world's largest collection of rugby union memorabilia, including fascinating items from across the globe and the last 200 years of the game's existence. The museum also houses the Play Rugby Interactive Zone, which features fun interactive challenges, including the line-out jump, scrum strength test, speed test and kicking zone.
The Tour & Training Package is a full day experience, suitable for educational groups of ages 6+ and is available Tuesday-Friday during term time, subject to availability.
