Twickenham Stadium is the world's largest dedicated rugby union stadium, containing 82,000+ seats in the stadium bowl, and regularly playing host to memorable sports fixtures, concerts, and many more thrilling live events.

This rich history makes the stadium an inspiring venue to host engaging activities for education groups, giving students hands-on learning experiences outside of the classroom.

Students can learn about the variety of careers available in and around sport, explore the historical, social, and cultural impact of rugby's global community in the World Rugby Museum, and visit select behind-the-scenes stadium areas used by international sports stars, including the England Rugby Changing Room, Players Tunnel and Pitch-Side on a tour of Twickenham Stadium.

As the Home of England Rugby, Twickenham Stadium is the regular host venue to a variety of world-class sporting fixtures. As a part of all workshops and activities, the RFU's rugby values are demonstrated to students: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

If you're looking for a coaching session to introduce your students to rugby or take your rugby team to the next level, our new Tour & Training Package with London Irish includes a training session at the Hazelwood Centre, the Home of London Irish, before an inspiring Twickenham Stadium Tour. Pupils of all ages and abilities can test out their rugby skills in a safe environment with the bespoke coaching sessions tailored to your needs.

From primary school to university groups, here at the World Rugby Museum we offer a broad variety of education programmes to suit all groups, and all educational visits have the option of adding a free education session to their stadium tour package.

Physical Education, Geography, Business, English, History: for Key Stage 1-4, we have an education workshop that can introduce, expand, or revise your national curriculum objectives in a fun way, related to real-life situations stimulated by our surroundings at Twickenham Stadium, the Home of England Rugby. Older students can have privileged access to our incredible RFU experts with seminars designed to really get them thinking about the world of sport beyond the pitch. Our activities are sure to leave your students inspired and knowledgeable, in line with national curriculum standards, and each session incorporates the fun yet important values of sport.

The World Rugby Museum is based in the South Stand of Twickenham Stadium, located in Twickenham, South-West London. We are easily accessible via all modes of transport, with short road connections to the M4, M3 and the M25 and over 2,000 onsite complimentary car parking spaces for those who wish to drive, including free coach parking.

You can also reach us easily by train, with regular 20-minute train journeys available from Central London (London Waterloo) to Twickenham Train Station. We are also only a 7-mile journey to London Heathrow Airport, making us an ideal destination for education groups travelling internationally, or those from further away domestically.
