Special Exhibition 'The Jimmy Peters Story' explores the remarkable life of Jimmy Peters, the first black man to play rugby union for England. The exhibition tells the story of his life from a childhood in the circus to his England call-up in 1906.
Star objects include Jimmy's England cap, recently donated by his family. It is on display alongside the caps he was awarded by Somerset, Plymouth and Devon. An array of photographs and documents also cast light on his remarkable life and outstanding achievements.
