Family Ghost Tours

Twickenham Stadium is the home of England rugby but it’s also home to some terrifying tales. From ghosts and World Cup hauntings to the tale of a deadly murderess, the site has some stories that are sure to send shivers down your spine. For one day only this Halloween, grab your witch’s hat and come on down to the World Rugby Museum where we will be leading special family-friendly ghost tours, unearthing some of the darker mysteries behind the stadium and the World Rugby Museum’s collection.

Tours will last for approximately 45 minutes before visitors have plenty of time to explore the World Rugby Museum. Spooky fancy dress is encouraged! Witches, ghosts and magical beings over the age of 5 welcome.

Journey to Japan: Japanese Inspired Arts and Crafts (5-13 years old)

Come on down to the World Rugby Museum this October half-term! Go on an adventure to Japan in our Japanese inspired arts and crafts sessions for families. Make a Japanese fan, decorate lanterns, create collage cherry blossom trees and get hands-on with origami.

What does my ticket entitle me to?

  • Children can participate in the mixed arts and crafts session, making a Japanese fan, decorating a paper lantern, creating a collage cherry blossom tree and trying their hand at origami. Adults can get stuck in and assist!
  • Entry to the World Rugby Museum where you can absorb the history and take on our interactive challenges. 

This event is suitable for children aged 5-13 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child! Maximum of 3 children per adult.

Design Your Own Cap Workshop (5-13 years old)

Caps have been part of rugby tradition for over 150 years. Now it’s your turn to design your own cap in preparation for the Rugby World Cup final.

What does my ticket entitle me to?

  • Children will design and use special fabric pens to design their own cap.
  • A white, child-sized (5-13 years old) sports cap.
  • Entry to the World Rugby Museum where you can absorb the history and take on our interactive challenges. 

This event is suitable for children aged 5-13 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child! Maximum of 3 children per adult.
